BVLGARI is an Italian luxury goods company and brand, formerly owned by the French company LVMH (Louis Vuitton). The brand name is spelled BVLGARI and is derived from the family name of the company's Greek founder (Sotirios Voulgaris, 1857–1932). Although the company has made a name for itself in jewelry, today it is one of the most prestigious luxury brands, producing a variety of products and product lines including watches, perfumes, clothing accessories, and a hotel chain.
