Guess
Guess fragrances and colognes are an American fashion house founded by brothers Georges, Arman, Paul, and Maurice Marciano. Born in Morocco and raised in France, the brothers moved to California in 1977 to launch their business, using the initial capital provided by their family's Jordache jeans business. The first jeans produced by Guess were the "Marilyn," stonewashed and featuring a distinctive ankle zip. As the design of jeans from the late 1970s continued to flourish, Guess introduced captivating products in the early 1980s, perfectly timed to the day. The brand was introduced to the American market through the Bloomingall retail chain.
