Thameen fragrances and colognes, despite its Arabic name and the fact that its founder is also Saudi, Basel bin Jaber, is in fact an English perfume house. It uses German-origin essential oils, crafted by German and French perfumers, in its fragrances. Thameen was launched in 2013 with its Treasure Collection, featuring perfumes named after rare treasures and jewels that symbolized power, wealth, beauty, and love. Jewels and perfumes have long been linked since ancient civilizations.
