Maurer & Wertz Cologne

Maurer & Wirtz fragrances and colognes were founded in 1854 by Michael Maurer and his wife Andreas Wirtz, when they decided to start producing soap in the small town of Stolberg near Aachen, Germany. Maurer & Wirtz is a long-established perfume house. The first fragrance was created in 1792 and the most recent in 2015. Maurer & Wirtz perfumes are created in collaboration with perfumers Geza Schoen, Cecile Hua, and Wilhelm Muelhens.
